This is our first blog post. So please, be gentle. Before flying headlong into the future I’d like to comment on the creation of Waverider Communications. In order to better serve our clients, both current and future (you’re out there, you just don’t know it yet), break out from the pack, make a statement, plant our flag and any other old business cliché that comes to mind we decided to re-launch RSA Communications. Why Waverider? Simple. I like to ride waves. I believe it provides a nice symmetry between my two passions; advertising and the ocean. That plus Bad Golf Swing Communications really didn’t sound all that good. The process of creating a new image from creation of the name through the email announcement that was sent out this past Tuesday took nine weeks. That includes website, logo and all collateral materials. The reason I bring this up is to make the point that if we can do that for us we can do that for you. Big corporations can take up to a year to create a new logo. A logo that was watered down by committee after committee and looks like an incomprehensible squiggle. Yes squiggle. It’s a highly technical term. To be blunt, we take the layers of corporate wastefulness out of the equation and deliver work that helps you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. I look forward to providing interesting and thought provoking posts that will sometimes leave you thinking, sometimes leave you shaking your head but more often than not leave you with a smile. Because as my personal hero and great comedic actor of the 20th century Bugs Bunny once said, “Why take life seriously? You’ll never get out of it alive.”
