Case Studies are a real world way to show Waverider’s capabilities. Following are some examples of how we work with businesses of all types:

Corporate Video Project

The Situation

The client, a freight forwarding company with a complex story to tell, had produced a three-minute video that was a few years old and was laced with industry jargon. The client was looking a produce a video that was shorter, to the point and understandable to the lay person.

The Process

We met with the client, conducted a brainstorming session and established our desired goals and expectations for the project. As the production process moved forward we identified that the message would best be delivered in an animated format. Storyboards and script were presented and approved by the client and production began.

The Result

The finished product is a 1:03 animated video featuring a well-know voice over artist. We delivered to the client 100 DVDs, with the company’s logo laser printed on each disc. We also produced a continuous loop DVD that will be used for trade shows. The video is also utilized as a link on the signature line of the company’s email. The message is now clear, concise and is a key part of the client’s marketing efforts.

Video Project for a Non-Profit

The Situation

Community Work Services is a Boston non-profit that has been in existence since 1878. For most of that time it was an organization doing tremendous public service in virtual anonymity. The organization needed to attract donors and interest without a huge budget.

The Process

We sat down with CWS and reviewed the many great things the organization had in its favor. We discovered that the best way to show CWS’s value was to showcase it’s finished products, graduates of the various programs. These individuals told their own stories, in their own words, looking directly into the camera. Their stories are touching, inspirational and most importantly, tell the audience why they should support CWS. But there was a hitch. The first video needed to be produced within two weeks in order to be shown at the Annual Chili Cup at Faneuil Hall. The pre-production, shooting, editing, scoring and final delivery of the video was completed two days ahead of schedule.

The Result

Two videos were produced featuring CWS graduates. Their stories truly are moving and inspirational. The videos have been featured on the CWS website and have been used in multiple presentations.

Sales Collateral in a HURRY!

The Situation

The client has been invited submit collateral materials to a seminar in Israel designed to help Israeli companies do business in the United States. We were made aware of the need at 4pm on Friday and due to shipping time the collateral material needed to be done first thing Monday morning.

The Process

We brainstormed with the client to determine what information needed to be provided. It was determined that we needed four separate sheets and that each sheet needed to be created from scratch. Upon receiving client approval for the designs late Saturday morning we went to work.

The Result

We created four custom one-sheet pieces and printed 75 of each sheet. We delivered the finished product to the client by 7pm Saturday night, more than 24 hours ahead of our deadline.
